Cliff jumping near allentown

theres a legit 40er. no rain in a couple days makes it 50. and a not so legit 75er down the banks more with PRIME spots for someone to make a swing (easily 80+). that place hasnt even been touched yet its sooo nice. not beat yet at all, barely even "developed" lot of potential.

real chill spot right by boulder. it says no swimming but fuck it, its chill.

aside from that theres a quary in bangor with 40s and such but its real hick and lots of deaths, but its good.

theres also a bridge jump. i dont really know where it is or names or anything but its a huge boat launch for raft guides and shit somewhere near francis walter. i was tripping balls when we rolled up to it so i cant remember but theres a swing and shit. good 45 foot bridge. swing to 60.
 
Peace rock is right by cabelas. It has a 35 to 40 foot rock and a rope swing down the path. Also, near the iron pigs stadium is an old railroad bridge you can jump off. It is only around 25 to 30 feet tall. You can see it on google maps. If you jump there just walk all the way to the other side from where the parking lot is.
 
The last one your talking about might be glen onoko falls area of the lehigh gorge, it's pretty far from the dam though. It's the take out for the lower section of the lehigh river. It's just outside jim thorpe, you could probably get there from allentown in less than a half hour.

Large train bridge maybe 40 or fifty feet, VERY popular for jumping and swimming. Large area of rock beach nearby to hang out(where all the rafts are on the weekend) and a huge cave in a rock wall that used to be the train tunnel I guess. Lots of parking and hiking in the area too. Actually there are three waterfalls up a hiking path across the tracks, biggest being about 60 or 70 feet, the creek is small though so none of those are jumpable.
 
correct sir. glen onoko falls. i walked up to the first set of falls then stopped. dont know how far it goes back there but its a cool hike.
 
the whole trail up the the top falls is only about a mile I think. We do rapelling up there on some of the cliffs across the creek from the trail, there's a good fifty foot face hidden back there. yeah nice steep little trail there though, spent many a good hot days just walking up the creek from the bottom.
 
only a mile? i guess i went to the top falls cause i walked for a good hour up. i only saw one actual fall though. the rest were like under 10 feet? its steep as hell. lots of bros with their girls trying to get them to walk higher up - "lets go back this is fuckin stupid" haha

that cave is pretty nuts though.
 
Chocked full of weekend warriors for sure, that's why we started exploring off trail in the first place. Yeah if you saw a falls that was like 50 feet or bigger it was the main one. The two others are about 15 feet or so and lots of people don't even see em cause the trail goes around the first one kind of, and the other is above the main falls so nobody bothers. Trail dumps you right on top of a flat rock at the top of the main fall with great views of the gorge.

You can take a trail to the top of the mountain that the cave is under as well, you end up on top of that huge rock wall the cave pokes out of. Then your like directly across the gorge from the falls trail.

Go up in the winter and you might bump into ice climbers on the main falls too.

Hell for a good day of cliff jumping anyone could rent a raft and fill it with beer. Just take it down the upper or lower section of the lehigh and there are cliffs all over on either side of the river at different spots.
 
peace rock is sick. we usually park on the far side all the way down by the rope swing. If you do that hit the rope swing for a while then mid afternoon you should hear trains going by that are usually creeping pretty slow so we jump on that and get off right at the cliffs.
