Cliff Jumpin

I new to the summer scene out here and I was wondering if there are any good sized hucks into large bodies of water. Back home me and my ski bum crew would hhuck ourselves 80+ ft into water and if I don;t do it I think that I will have a neverous breakdown and then go to the hoggle zoo and realease all of the minx back into the wild

Echo lake near coalville has some descent drops, nothing too big though

Powell and some new lake near st. george have good drops

and i have heard that there are some good areas in southern idaho

you've got Flaming Gorge near Vernal, and then there's big cliffs on the Colorado/Lake Powell if you go down to Page, AZ, but cliff jumping is illegal down there. there's also some stuff in the Moab area...Teakettle's fun, but only like 10-35 feet and a little sketchy. Flaming Gorge is probably your best bet.

St. George / Quail Creek has a huge drop on the far side. I have vid on 8mm, but don't know how to make it digital to post. It is deff. over 80'. We measured it with parachute line, but I can't remember the exact hight anymore. No, I didn't hit it(chicken) but my buddies did. One friend ripped the crotch of his shorts wide open when he hit and another got a pressure cut on his butt when he hit the water. Also, there is the waterfall cliffs running off of Gunlock resevoir in St. George. Those are fun but can only be hit at certain times of the year. So, there are some ideas if you head down south. PM me if you want specifics.

I too love cliff diving, my friend the other day was telling me he knows a place with some 65 footers, Ill grab some more info for you tommarow.

i'm goin to a place called Havasupai on monday, it is near the grand canyon and has upwards of 100 foot cliffs into water stirred up by waterfalls

never been but it is very sick i hear

this is my buddy

Havasupai Falls is such a cool place. Highly recomend it to all. But, that is just one of the falls. the two big ones are not doable. I just don't think they are deep enough. that falls above is small in comparison to the others. And it is pushing it for how deep it is.

^^^Ha, what am I thinking. the other falls are not doable because they are both over 100' tall. One is around 200' or more - Can't remember right now.

theres a sick place about one hour north of salt lake city called causey reservoir, near pineview reservoir go up towards the huntsville monastery towards monte cristo and you'll find it, later in the year, when the water has gone down, you'll get jumps of 15- 80 feet easy, very fun
