Cleaning Sticker Marks

Putting stickers on my helmet is a must. Unfortunately I get tired of stickers, and change things up. When I do this I always get this nasty residue on my helmet from the last sticker that stays. The problem is using cleaning solution damages your helmet. Let's hear some ideas for cleaning this stuff off. Here are my methods:

-Using vegetable oil and rubbing the residue around with a wash cloth

- then clean it off with another wet rag using soap too

-Wash helmet off

-After using the helmet a few times the residue comes back, so I just clean it off with my hands by rubbing them hard across it.

This method isn't perfect and I know some other nsers have better ideas.

I have a matte white helmet that also had a couple sticker marks and dirt on it. I used a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser and everything went out, looked almost good as new. I just rubbed my helmet with one then dried it off with a paper towel.

two quick at home ideas==> heat up the residue, should come off very quick. Also, i believe vinegar breaks the bond of the residue

Im strait up not fucking with u, use peanut butter. just smear it on there, and its a nice eco friendly way to do it.

On the inside of the helmet it says "Do not clean with solvents bleaches and strong detergents. They can damage the helmet invisibly. Use mild soap and water only."

That's why I was wondering about special techniques to clean it off.

i dont doubt it says that but i doubt it can hurt it that bad. Unless you use it everyday. But fuck it, live on the edge bro!
