Has anyone ever gotten the heads of their camera cleaned? I tried a dry cleaning cassette and it didnt do anything and Im still getting the error so I need to get them professionally cleaned? Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost and where to go? I know sony and other companies do flat rate, but there isnt anything else that I need fixed. Whats the best way to go, send it to a company or find a local shop?

yeah I had heard somewhere around $75, but Ive got limited shops around here and the shop I was told to go to went out of business this summer.

Its gonna be more like $70 than $30-40. If you can, try and find a local shop, just because its easy access and you can pick it up/drop it off on your own schedule.

If you can't, maybe see if the manufacturer offers that? Maybe find an online store that does it?

I called up all the stores in the city Im in and they all either dont clean camera heads or stopped selling video cameras so they stopped cleaning them as well, I guess Im off to the next city up?

But yeah I have heard around $75 to clean the heads..

also this just gives me prices? where do I get more information on the site or am I just missing something?

video electronics is one of the most legit places ever. I shipped my gl-2 there and i got it back super quick. Go to videoelectronics.tz or something along that lines. OR just use skate perceptions form. If you dont feel comfortable doing it online. Call them. They are very very good. It ran me around 90 i think because i needed some part. very legit place. highly recommended

alright, I think Im going to give them a call tomorrow.. and I called around and theres some options in the next city but thats over an hour away and they were quoting me much higher than video electronics..

and plus karma to everyone who helped me.. (if I didnt already)
