I dont know if people on this site are really into the older music but if you want some more let me know.

I've heard most of that before, but this thread is definitely going places for Newschoolers. I will contribute another time when I've got more time.

Early Iron Maiden was the best. I really like the band with Bruce Dickinson, but I like Paul's singing just a touch more.

guys please keep posting in here. being only 17 i have missed out on all of this not so famous rock back in the day. enlighten me. i love this stuff so far

I'm going to name off a bunch of bands as they pop into my head.

Pink Floyd

Jethro Tull

The Who

The Guess Who

Moody Blues

Hendrix

Neil Young

Ten Years After

Crosby Stills Nash and Young

Led Zeppelin

Rush (some people swear by them but fuck their singer's voice)

The Doors

Those are a few for now, a lot of that is actually taken from my dad's record collection. He has good taste.

pink floyd have unleashed some materpieces, anything with gilmour and waters at the lead are amazing. My personal fav floyd album is animals but pretty much all their albums are amazing up until the wall. Such much blues inspired guitar.
