Cinematic Reel

Looking to start getting more into photography and cinematography so I made a cinematic reel with some of my favorite shots from the past couple years. Interested to hear peoples opinions/criticism so if you have a sec check it out and lemme know what you think.

thought that was pretty dope man. Could've been a little shorter though for sure. I think most highlight reels I've seen are around 2:30 or 3 minutes tops.

Thanks yeah it definitely should of been a little bit shorter but just wanted to experiment with some different types of filming and stuff

Some awesome shots in there! Really liked the colors you achieved

IMO

- Too long, film reels should be a bit shorter, you don't want you audience to loose interest, so maybe cut some of the uninteresting shots, like for example the pan from like 0:17 to 0:26 is a little blown out, lacks a subject, and just feels a little unnatural.

- The title sequence is sick, i dig the first part, but the "a collection" title is unnecessary and just adds length.

- It's just my opinion, and obviously cinematography is subjective and unique to whatever style your going for, but I think you went a little overboard on the zoom in/ sharp cut / heartbeat kind of transition in the beginning ...especially when its in the same shot, it just kind of jumps randomly to a different part of the pan which doesn't flow.

Still super sick though, keep up the good work brotha

Right now I have a Panasonic g7 most of the shots were on that or my friends gh4
