He did according to his facebook... What was he thinking? Sure, Chuglife in HD will be cool, but I can almost guarantee most of his footage will be out of focus, not to mention how long we will have to wait if (when) he breaks it.

Any bets on how long before its ruined by somone drunkenly trying to swallow it?
 
Your criticizing him for getting one? Im fairly sure he deserves one more than 90% of NS.
 
I wasnt saying the footage will be out of focus because he cant use a camera, but lets be honest, 90% of chug life is filmed by a drunk guy. Drunk guy trying to pull focus=fail.
 
you guys are all being ignorant assholes, hes not hating at all he is just saying that Chug doesn't have the time or co-ordination to use the functions of the T2i to film the shit he does... plus its usually not even him filming it. you cant just give a random person a t2i and tell them "Alright you better not fuck this up" and expect them not to get an over exposed blur of utter shit.
Also the t2i is a bigger hassle to edit. Larger file sizes = portable hard drive = more time = long ass rendering = chug smashes computer in frustration
 
or perhaps chug decided he wanted a nice camera for his own personal use, and he'll use his regular video camera (sony hdr-cx550, which shoots 1080p anyways)

hahaha, you guys are looking way too into this. i just wanted to have a nice camera, didn't really have chug life in mind when i bought it.
 
Get off his dick! This is NS, there are no apologies...and to be honest, I agreed with the OP at first. All the OP implied was that Chug isn't very responsible with a camera, and Chug Life proves that, regardless of whose camera it was filmed on.

I do, however, love Chug, despite his camera abuse problems. I just wouldn't loan him mine ;)
 
First off, I never said he didnt deserve a nice camera, all I was saying was that a DSLR might restrict chug from getting shots when he "goes too far". Also, I never said chug was irresponsible. Everybody gets fucked up once in a while. I would just never bring my 7d with me when I do, but chug needs to for chug life. But chug cleared everything up and hes not using it for chug life. Sorry if I got anyone butthurt.

Wow so it goes down as he posts? That's pretty wack of whoever did that to him, he was getting way up in the numbers. Was it for how much he was posting?
