CHRONIC CRYPTONITE or AFTERBANGS..?

I have the '09/2010 green 166 Afterbangs.. And I dont know if I should get 2010/2011 177 Afterbangs or 2010/2011 Chronic Cryptonites..
I love the afterbangs I have but would like a more all mountain ski that could keep up in the pow of Japan..
Any thoughts?

i deffinatly dont think that you should get the same ski in a longer size. but i dont think that you should get the chronic either. by the sound of it you want the chronic to be your one ski quiver, but i dont think you will be satisfied with it in the powder.

IMO, i think that you should keep your green afterbangs and instead buy a pair of atomic blogs or another semi-fat rockered pow ski(you're going to japan for god's sake) i think that you would have a much better time with a rockered pow ski and those green afterbangs as a quiver instead of a one ski quiver that you'll probably be unsatisfied with in the long run

but thats just my own opinion
 
I agree, neither sounds like the best choice to me. Get the jj, by far the best all mtn pow ski. Rips groomed, fun and poppy in the park, slays pow like a mythical dragon...lol
 
like others have said i do not think you should go for the afterbangs nor the chronic go for something along the lines of the hellbent im getting some just to fool around on and i cant wait to have them but go for something over 95mm i would say
 
Thanks everyone.. But i reckon I will get the Chronic Cryptonite.. And most of you misunderstood me.. Im obviously not getting the Chronic's for a pow ski.. im just saying that I would want something that would suck shit in pow.
