But back to what's goin on now....I'm in the market for a new suit and if dakines makin em I'd llike to see em....anyone got pics or link cause I don't see that on the site yet.
 
he originally started working with causwell like a year ago, and i believe he just switched to dakine. He's been off causwell for awhile now.
 
Yeah pollard def don't ride for causewell no mo.....somethin about quality standards weren't up to pollards par....ok anyone of you net wizards find pics yet?

companies spend the whole previous season developing the outerwear that comes out now. it just so happens that right now is also contract time, so it's not unusual from pro models to be released when someone isn't on the team.
 
And yet they still have name rights? Although i dont know how strict pro skiers are with who gets to use there name...
 
I'm sure they will do a damn good job with whatever they end up making. Its interesting to see all these people coming into the freeski market. Freesking sure has grown a lot in the past two years.
 
I'm real stoked on this. I've been using dakine products for a long time. Since back when they were surf only. I've only had one issue that was remedied so quickly it was ridiculous. And it wasn't even a big deal issue. I called and told em a mask wasn't cut right. Like it was asymmetrical. All I wanted to do was give em input that something was amiss in manufacturing and totally didn't expect to have it replaced. They sent me a new one within like two days with some other goodies and were legitimately concerned with my opinion and how to fix the issue. They are a super legit company that way. Impeccable customer service. Real laid back and cool people. That kinda stuff goes a long way for me and I'm a customer for life. If they're making jackets and pants now I'll be the first in line. I'd live to see em though. Hopefully they release this season and not next. Seems a touch late in the game for this season but who knows.
 
I get the impression from CB's tweet that it's just now going down and so they most likely will be doing samples etc. until SIA when they will show retailers the line up, at which point buyers will place orders for Fall '12 delivery. I wouldn't count on being able to buy any Dakine pieces any time soon.
 
Yeah and pollards already on the dakine team and has been for a while. Whether or not he starts rockin their outerwear is another story.
