so i was wondering if anyone knows the chord progression for this song i'm pretty shure it's Am G F G but it sounds like im missing something
 
aight so i dont really wanna make a new thread so tell me what you guys think of a song that i have in progress, im really bad at coming up with shit so any tips would be appreciated as well

well first of all it's not bad

but that is not an Fmaj nor is that other one a C nor is the next one an Am who taught you your chords boy?
 
learn your chords! and that wasn't a bad start, play with it and add stuff in where it feels right. don't be so rigid with it.
 
yeah all those chords ARE right, i dont know what your talking about, one note is out of place by accident, where did you guys learn your chords, the top line is the high e and bottom is low e, and it is an f major not f, i know what f is, if you play it with an f it sounds bad, play f major
 
aight then how does everybody else play there Am's and C's and Fmaj's? there are ways to play other chords but how does everyone do them...without barring

the problem i had with your Fmaj is that to me it is a Fmaj6
