Childish Gambino concert last night

A friend of mine works at a music venue in downtown Minneapolis, so I got free tickets to the Childish Gambino concert last night. I haven't heard a whole lot about him prior to the concert, but damn was his show good! Curious as to what the rest of NS thinks?

I really enjoy their music quite a lot and Glover's lyrics are quite enjoyable. I would love to catch a show by them.
 
im proud to say i started the first thread about him. /claim.

but yeah still think hes absolutely sickk. better than all that mainstream garbage and tyler the creator. IMO

Yeah his show was crazzzyyyy good. Pretty much all live instruments which you don't see often at a hip-hop show, so that was cool. And his lyrics are....not deep....but witty, I guess is how I would put it. Witty, and clever. Although his newer stuff and the stuff he's coming out with in the future is more down-to-earth, based on his experiences of bullying, family problems, relationship problems, etc. The kid is a smart dude, he's a writer for 30 Rock, a comedian, and an actor as well.
