Ok the other day i was looking at new skis and i saw the 07-08 k2 nancys and i think they look dope. But they are chick skis... But theyre dope... Any comments?
yes and you are retarded. the nancy is the womens equivalent to the seth, just slightly softer. and also im sure a chick could break them do depending on her size. fat chicks especially. ive skied them at a demo and theyre not bad.
I skied the Nancy a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure it's the same flex as the Pistol. And the Same as next year's Fujas. I'd definitely ski them if they made them longer. I skied Misdemeanors too and found them much nicer to ski that the PE.
They feel like.. a narrower, softer version of the seth...
seeing as I weigh less than a lot of girls... it worked out pretty fuckin okay..
they are lots of fun though. i wish they made them longer and a little stiffer.. the width was PERFECT for what I was skiing that day.. they are a lot lighter then the seths too... fun skis.
ive seen like 8 or 9 kids at PC with last years Volkl Karhu, the girl park ski. most of them are little and im sure didnt know better, cuz its a sick graphic, but then i have seen a couple older kids killing it and they are riding the Karhu as well. maybe they just dont know haha
Exactly. And chick skis arent always weaker then guys skis. My friend (who is a girl) has a pair of salomon temptresses and i ride thrusters there almst the same thing except the graphic and the temtress has a softer flex pattern but if i found a pair of chick skis that looked dope and rode good id get them. but for now im just gunna stick with my thrusters.
Even if they were chicks skis, who cares? He rapes skiing and I'm sure the flex pattern of a women's ski would be beneficial for a kid of his size and weight. And for other smaller skiers they would probably be a better alternative then a lot of mens skis. Besides no one calls a chick out for ridding guys skis so its no big deal.
I am less than 120 pounds and I was contemplating getting a set of ARWs because they were really really cheap from last year, I ended up not though. But for someone my weight I could see some advantages if they were using it for a park ski.
I wish the stockholm's wern't a womens goggle, They look like they got a great field of view, especialy for riding switch. I donno though, I've never tried em on...
Why did oakley make a new goggle and decide to make it a "womens" goggles, If they hadn't done that I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't care if a guy did buy em... I kinda wanna try em out now.
