Now I know that Illinois does not have a regional thread so i decided to post in this one. I also know that there was just a post like this in this forum. I was wondering if anybody knew of any good urban rails in the chicago area? It would seem that there would be lots of good rails, but I havent really seen any,

Pics would be appreciated
 
i was actualy thinking about that idea. take a trip down to chicago and fine some super sweet urbans and stuff. its cheep to drive or fly there so both are options.
 
if you guys want to come down to chcago for trip, let me know, and I can defenitely do some looking for some nice rails
 
id go, i live in mchenry IL, im about 1 hr from chicago. there are a lot of nice rails areound milwaukee, brookfield, waukesha areas too!
 
in naperville, got a truck and ice rink by my apartment and know a few rails in the city and many in the burbs
 
just got back from downtown chicago. i did a bunch of scouting. (around the loop/mag mile/soliders field/navy pier/grant park) most rails have stops on them, actually about everyone i saw. the ones i saw with out them had no landing what so ever. also in most places chicago is pretty flat (away from the lake) im guessing theirs some on the south side near cominsky or the united center thats were most of the hills are downtown, those niehgboorhoods are pretty sketch thou and heaavily cop patroled, so wed have to get the ins.'

milwaukees pretty different. no rails have stops on them and theirs no cops anywhere.
 
there is a nice single bar rail, a block esat of the John Hancock building, sort of in an alley, but if you had an inrun ramp, it could be setup perfectly
 
was their a fence neae the end thou. i may have seen that one, im not sure if it had a landing thou. let me know
