Chicago area?

Ok so why no Illinois in the regional forum area? We do ski here, may be icey but we still get out. Well anyways, anyone from the chicago area? I'm about 30 min west of chicago.
 
Ya dude, I'm from highland park (north shore) and we got no forum cuz we only have chestnut and cuz we ski in wisco anyways..... not the best urban places here either lol
 
yea but i take myself up to raging buffalo terrain park in algonquin or theres four lakes in lisle which i hear has a somewhat ok park. but yea mainll wilmot on the border or cascade
 
they have always allowed skiers, at first it was no poles but u can use them now, and twintips only, helmet mandatory
 
the one time i was at Ragging Buffalo last winter which was for a snowboard event I only saw one skier. But yeah it was pretty sick there looked fun.
 
im from chicago, my dad lives in elmhurst and my mom lives downtown, we should all ride this winter
