Has anyone ever done a ski trip to the Chic Chocs in Quebec? Me and some friends are lookign at doing it. If anyone has I would love to hear some stories good place to stay etc.
 
make sure there is enought snow!!!!

well i went there with a group of friends in teh early season like 5 years ago, ahd quite a good time carrying my friends styff around cause they werent in shape enought for the hike, and I got to eat some gummy beers and a shot of captain morgan spicy rhum on the way back to the car, it wasfun.
 
Pag let me know after you do it (That is if you remebr) to what it was like. I am looking at going next year.
 
It's been a dream of mine to go there for the past several years. I'd love to just get out there, hike, ski, and be completely away from anything.
 
there is a real nice shack at the bottom of the patroller's wal (mur des patrouilleurs) called la serpentine, you probably cant sleep there normally but i dont know if anyone is gonna check it out. You can take a break tehre before starting the actual hike to the mountain, check the sepaq site too it's great. If anyone is going there, make sure to drop me a mail or something cause my parents liv quite close and m dad usedt guide ski trip in the chic chocs.
 
Ced if I was any where near amqui I would be sure to drop you a line. It is against the ski relgion to be so close to Ced without taking a couple of runs with the man. LOL
 
yeah we are definatly using a guide overthere. And where is the best place to go ced? I mean I know the chic choc are pretty round but is there any nice cliff?
