Check this out.... saw 4

I never saw the original Saw, let alone the other two, so this movie i will definitely never see. The movie industry needs a new approach. It seems to be that the new American way is all about prequels and sequels. Movies that don't deserve another movie giving more depth to the plot get it and movies that I would love to have continue do not. Don't support this trash. I still haven't seen all of the newer Star Wars movies because of how much I hated what I did see.
 
Saw's dragging on now. Original saw was good. Great idea, imaginative.

I don't like how people always make a sequel to a superbly successful movie. it just screws it all up. Saw was awesome. Let's just leave it at that and make another horror movie... not just carry on making on mediocre sequels to an extremely successful first movie.

 
yeah, but the only reason they do it is for the MONEY, they dont care what everyone thinks, as long as they are making money, so thats why they make the movies
 
Yeah. Sure, they'll make money making a sequel to a successfull movie. But they'll make more money if they use an original idea which is great.
 
you're damn right. Here's a good example for you. The Boondock Saints, cult classic. One of my favorite movies, it was Troy Duffy's first movie and it was fucking amazing. The story ended with too much hanging, there was originally a sequel lined up, but it never came to be. Personally, I would have liked to seen a sequel of that, but only if Willem Dafoe would have been in it, which he wasn't slated to anyways. They just make sequels and prequels like it's going out of style, which i really hope it does. Good movies are becoming harder and harder to come by now, Rush Hour 3...come on. The first two were fucking terrible.
 
right on with boondock saints, but cmon, the first 2 rush hours were hilarious, i thought they were good
 
Yeah boondock saints is one of my favourite movies. did they officially cancel the sequal? or is it just not being made at the moment?
 
Pretty sure it's been scrapped. I saw stuff about it a long time ago and I think it was supposed to be out by now, so it's probably dead.
 
fuck yeah it looks sweet as fuck. i cant wait i think its going up to like saw 7.....i dont really care i liked all of them so far.
 
Sequel (sp?) has been dead for a while. But Boondock Saints is the best movie in the world, hence the icon.
 
i hated the third. second one was amazing. so many twists, and it wasnt as dark and depressing, and the first was just ok. this 4th looks a bit over the top
 
that is so stupid, before they used to have good ideas/storyline now its just the same thing with more blood, gore, and stuff that doesnt help the story. In the first movie there was minimal and now its just stupid and disgusting. Theres no story to it anymore.
 
wow. i thought they were done with the saw shit already but now another. lets hope is has a decent plot.
 
i think the saw movies just keep getting worse and worse. and really, there isn't much worse than being thrown into a pit of needles and have to dig through them trying to find something....i can not even imagine that.
