Check the whistler forcast

Yep! I was just reading it too, and I'll gladly take 5-10 cm overnight in September. I always get way to excited for my own good in September / October.

Kapow!Looking at the mountain cameras this morning was fucking rad. Looky looky.

this forecast is better than a lot of forecasts in Mid-January.

Everyone always gets worked up every fall when this happens, and then 2 weeks later the temperature jumps and it all gets rained away. I won't be convinced until there's some solid base built up. Whistler has done far too much teasing the past couple of seasons.

yeah it really dont mean anything at this point, i remember that really bad el nino season, 04-05 it snowed like first or second week of september up there. worst season ever.

I'm not saying this means it's going to be a good season. It is supposed to be an El Nino again this year right? Hope for the best anyways...I'm just stoked that there is snow falling on the mountains again! It's something nice to think about when studying for midterms. Time to get out the rock skis and hike some october snow this weekend I think.

We had the melt, and now maybe winter's coming? I dunno but the forecast looks delicious again. Giver a look see.

I nearly cried when I looked at the webcams today. Too beautiful. Haha. But seriously it's looking really good up there. About time to hit up some backcountry.

Fuck this, I'm dropping out of school to ski bum. That was always the plan after I graduated but I don't think I'm going to be able to wait.

We're gonna get more than 5mm rain... Hopefully not much more though. Freezing levels aren't supposed to be too much higher than peak though so I think we'll keep a good amount of it. There is so much snow all over BC now it's ridiculous. Though this next week isn't looking so hot... Or cold I guess.

Friday.. Snow. Windy. Snowfall accumulation 15 to 25 cm.

Freezing level lowering to 1000 metres.

Saturday.. Snow. Snowfall accumulation 10 to 20 cm.

Freezing level 1000 metres.

Sunday.. Cloudy with sunny periods. 60 percent chance of snow.

Snowfall accumulation up to 5 cm. Freezing level 1000 metres.

Awesome. I might have to take a trip up there next week during the break and get some hiking in.

=[ And then I looked at the temperatures and noticed it's +4 at the roundhouse and +7 at the Olympic station..

the temp is a dropping.

Thursday..Snow heavy at times.

Alpine temperature steady near zero.

Snowfall accumulation 30 to 40 cm.

Freezing level 1800 metres.

Mountain top winds south 60 to 80 km/h.

5 Day Trend..A cool and moist onshore flow will prevail through the

weekend which will result in periods of snow.

Friday.. Snow. Windy. Snowfall accumulation 15 to 25 cm.

Freezing level lowering to 1000 metres.

Saturday.. Snow. Snowfall accumulation 15 to 25 cm.

Freezing level 1000 metres.

Sunday.. Periods of snow.

Snowfall accumulation up to 5 cm. Freezing level 1000 metres.

potential for 95 cms by Monday. sick gnar.

Man am I the only one who is getting super antsy. Whistler needs to start posting some Snow reports right meow!

Anyone know what the bas is at the top of solar coaster, or the whistler gondy?

STOKED! its been a good week!

People have been throwing around an early opening next weekend conditions permitting. I would be so happy if that was the case, but I'm not going to bank on it until I see something official.

went up paul ridge today (check pics below). There is a lot of snow up there! Over 3 feet for sure. Not long now...

No way me too. Diamond head right? I don't have any pics, just a little video. It looks so nice up there. Like feet of snow piled up on the trees, so deep. Really sticky in most places up there, but still super duper nice. Heading up Wednesday too and hopefully getting higher up to some softer, lighter stuff.
I didn't see you did I? I was in a saga jacket and had bacons.
