Check it out

i love your glidecam work. how long did it take you to get those really smooth shots? got mine last week and it doesnt even compare to your footage.

Ha thanks!

The things I do that help me the most is make sure the balance is at exactly 2 seconds drop time, and I hold the pole close to the gimbal. It's hard to explain the latter suggestion but I hope that helps haha

yeah I have about a 2 second drop time. i hold the grip with my right hand and "steer" it with my left. it seems like the wind always screws up my movement

Chuuch. Working in the next edit and want a bit of advice from you guys: should I put more hood crew shenanigans or not?

i like it

my $.02:

colors were too cool (blue tint in the snow)

the film burn in there was unecisarry

the shot at ~1:50 cut from the skier going left to right, to a clip of him going right to left, i thought that was a bit awkward.

overll pretty nice, some good movement, could have been good to add some tripod stuff in, too.

Most people wear helmets while on the hill. I personally think its stupid not to. And I don't hit park or pow without my helmet. It just happens to be Joey and Abe b/c they're goons.

Funny you say that, I actually de-saturated in post and didn't bump saturation at all in-camera.

But don't get down on yourself dog, Any opinion is appreciated. If I wanted just a few people's opinions I woulda just sent them the vid.

Oh ok chill, yeah I will not take my helmet off. Even with a helmet I got a concussion on the second day this season, I must say it is the worst not being able to remember anything. I am pretty sure if I took the fall I did without a helmet I would have died.

I've had two concussions that were both really bad. Doctor told me one more and no more skiing. That's really what got me into filming

that was sick! the way it flowed, the filming, and the song were all good, also the skiing was good as usually

but the blue drove me crazy, when i watched it i hoped you would have fixed it from your last edit, idk if its just me but the blue was way way way too vivid

that aside, really cool though and fun to watch

Yeah I know what you mean. After my concussion I decided that I would focus more on filming. Now when I go skiing im not throwing down quite as hard also.

It was my profile. I had saturation up 1 and color tone down 1. Both are at zero now. This next edit has pretty blues.
