Hey guys!

Here's a new edit I made from some footage I shot last season. Let me know what you think. It's a bit short because we didn't get to shoot much due to the weather. Critiques are welcome!

Thanks guys,

Matt

WOW...That glidecam work was absolutely ON POINT. I actually can't get over that first shot and how cool it was. The camera predicted the riders intentions and it made for a really cool effect. The song was really chill, but still in your face and the riders tricks were filmed really nicely. One thing I really liked was the first transition how it went up to the sky and back down. Plus the audio was really clean and consistent. What are you filming with btw? Super nice quality.

Damn, Matt, that was flawless. As ^ said, that opening shot (and following transition) was just incredible.

Also stoked for your kendama film this fall.

Looked awesome. I don't know how you got the videos in those cloudy/foggy conditions to look so good.

The jump takeoff shot was dope and transitioned well to the next shot I thought. Overall super good edit

Nothing really. Sometimes I keep a spare beanie that I put over it when I ride up the lift. I usually will keep filming if it's snowing as long as the snow isn't melting on the camera. As soon as it begins sticking and melting, I usually stop.

Great work Matt! As mentioned before the transition into the skiing was so on point. I found the audio to be pleasing as well. 'Your glidecam work is top notch iIMO, but perhaps mix a few tripod shots in next time,Overall visually appealing!

As everyone has already said, intro was amazing, what were you using for audio on that too? Impressively.

Seeing as nobody's said any flaws, I figured I'd post a couple, and really they're not even flaws, they're minuscule adjustments that aren't necessarily wrong.

1:02, seems possibly a bit slow.

1:34 a couple of these seemed out of time with the music, only a small amount which is what made it annoying, which wouldn't have been a problem if it was more out of time. This is really the only flaw, other one doesn't really matter a huge deal.

Overall another amazing edit, you really can produce the goods regardless of weather, and utilise it as well.

@Tanner-D Thanks Tanner! I wish I could have got some tripod shooting in. We had such little footage from shooting glidecam the first day because the weather was so bad that I shot glidecam the second day too.

@Magnus Thanks for getting picky! I was using a rode video mic pro with a dead cat. (With a little post work)I hear what you're saying about 1:02. I personally love listening to the audio on that section though.

Good catch at 1:34. It bothered me a bit too, but it seemed like such a small amount off that I didn't bother fixing it.

Thanks man! Really appreciate it.

@JamesJenkins I actually don't remember, but looking at the ungraded footage, I think I did shoot in cinestyle.
