Cheapest way to ski Baker?

Just looked at the Baker forecast and am now doing the typical drop everything and try to plan a ski trip... anyone know any cheap places to stay, or ways to get deals on lift tickets (buying online or etc)? Any advice is appreciated, along with all of the secret spots?

generally it is very wet/raining at baker and there is nowhere to stay within an hour of the mountain. head to colorado or utah instead

Try hiding in the ski lodge bathroom and sleeping there after they close it down... It might just work! You could also sleep in the car.

You might be able to hike the first lift and just ski upper mountain because they usually just check tickets at the bottom.

Hang Loose

Was there in mid-january with a group and we stayed at the Days Inn in Bellingham. We were trying to find lodging for a lot of people so we couldn't find anything closer, but Bellingham is pretty cool and not a terrible drive.

I once stayed at Baker in an RV, and it was tight.

That article was one of those first few things that made me really want to work in the ski industry.

Sadly that was a pretty freaking unique time. Been a dream of mine to be a part of something like that again.
