Cheap sliders?

so i am looking at getting a cheap slider that will work in the cold.

why cheap? well i have an very nice slider, but for backcountry/sidecountry, i want something i can beat up, strap on to my bag, and get slider shots on my tripod.

2 - 3 feet max would be great. i have a 44 inch that i love, but when its $800, i dont want to take it into the backcountry/ its heavy and nice.

budget would be MAX 200, but maybe its not possible.

thanks

Look into the Konova sliders. I had a rhino one and then switched to the Konova k3 for ease of use and transportability and I love it. Went on a 3 day skinning tour trip with it and it was awesome

Maybe try making one? PVC and rollerblade wheels can make something that works pretty well for not a lot of money, and if it breaks you just replace the part.

Why wouldn't it be? With a little creativity you could make something that breaks apart, also you can make it as large or as small as you like.

It also sounds amazingly easy to transport into the backcountry.

I agree with Wingmen, diy shit can be customized to your needs, and super cheap. You could easily make a decent slider as huge or as small as you want that breaks down relatively small for under 20 bucks.
