Cheap place to stay in stowe?

i know i am constantly posting to find deals... but skiing is an expensive hobby and i am broke as shit! so... does anyone know of a cheap and non-bug-infested place to stay near stowe?

and, for the record, if you need cheap travel advice for tahoe, whistler, or nyc let me know!

haha well i stayed at the stoweflake and that was pretty expensive, but try the town and country, thats nt to bad
 
ooh, i just read reviews of the twon and country on tripadvisor... and someone said they found blood (!) on the sheets! gross! so it seems that there isn't really going to be a place to stay for a reasonable amount of $$ in stowe that isn't a total dive... is it reasonable to stay in burlington and drive to stowe in the mornings? i would imagine there are cheaper places to stay there...

yea stowe is under an hour from burlington. u must know someone at uvm or champlain or st mikes
