Cheap new skins?

So looking at some skins for my at set up. Cheapest ones I can find are about $108 US. The G3 backcountry logo. Anyone know of some cheaper or should I just pony up money and buy?

The $100-110 mark is pretty dang good. And the BC skins are just G3 Alpinists (nylon) with a different pattern.

Shame they don't come with cheater sheets though. That's a silly thing to leave out.

I was conflicted between the same G3 ones, which as David said are just rebranded Alpinists, and the climbing skins direct ones. (http://www.climbingskinsdirect.com/store) I ultimately went G3, and they've been fine. I'm on a different pair of G3's now, I've had some minor gloping issues with both pairs but I think they're pretty solid in my (somewhat limited) opinion. I like the tip and tail clips better than the BD ones, even though I've had a little bit of an easier time with the BD glue.

Surprisingly enough I've met a couple snow science people on the ClimbingSkinsDirect ones that like 'em a lot. I don't have any time on those yet though, but I'll report back if I get any.

Buy glueless skins. Skins with glue are the past. All kind of brands have glueless skins these days that work and are solid. All glueless skins have a lot of advantages over skins with glue.

Secondary Question: I Have the opportunity to get new BD Ascension skins cheap.

Do I go for 140mm or 125mm? My ski is 134/102/122. I feel like 125 will be enough. I haven't skinned enough to know if it will matter. The ski is ON3P wrenegade on Marker F12s.

Thoughts?

125mm would be plenty.
