Cheap Housing options for some bros?

A couple of friends and I (will probably be 5-6 people total) are trying to stay near vail from about Decemeber 27th - January 15th this winter. Anybody know of cheap housing options? Definitely willing to crash on couches, sleeping bags, etc. Just need an ideal place close to the mountain where we can rage at night. Not very picky...

Leadville or Minturn are your best bets for real cheap housing....obviously not in Vail but certainly close enough.

minturn and red cliff. craigslist has had a bunch of cheap big houses in red cliff for a while
