Go to ski stores and ask for old stock. I got two pairs of S900s cheap - one was abgout 1/3 off (1 season old) and the other was less than half price (2 seasons old).

how cheap? around 100, hopefully lower, but i dont think i can go over 125 right now

Yeah in that price range you can rule out ebay, i've been trying for weeks to get a decent binding in that area and i'm about ready to give up. You can hardly call them 'deals'.

used salomon s500's got for like 30 bones, but they dont have a wide binding, but salomon does sell some nice cheap bindings like the down graded version of the s912

if you tell a shop you need bindings that will hold up but cant go above $100, im sure they will hook you up. I work in a shop and i know we have some old stock and stuff lying around. On my lines i actually have like a 5 year old pair of markers that i broke once and they hold up surprisingly well. If the brakes don't fit around the ski, get a dremel or some tool like it and grind away all the plastic on the inside of the end of the brakes, or take a blowtorch, heat them up and bend them out. I reccomend the dremel...

i work at a shop too, and not all binding are on display, just ask for some old binding and they will be cheap but at the same time they will be pretty good.

the axium are meant to be the lightest binding on the market, but every company states that they have the lightest binding. The good thing about the axium binding is that they have four points of contact on the toe piece and two on the heel. The two rollers will help release while the two extended wings will keep you in. But the din is on from a 3 - 9. So you also need to figure out what din you are before buying a binding as well

there are two types of binding on the market, ones that will hold you in and ones that release you. A bind that you pay a 100 will release you and a binding thats about 150+ is designed to hold you in. Just try and get an old binding. Maybe one or two years old

man looks for deals around NS. . .dude man was selling a bunch of 2003 new salomon 912ps bindings are some ones from the year before. and i just got em mounted without the poweraxe, so its flush with the ski like a 912Ti would be. . .they were 70 bucks. . . 10 dollars shipping.
