So I had to write a poem using a symbol pertaining to Carpe diam... I used Charlie Ager as my symbol because of his bumming. I don't write poems, so here it is.
Charlie Ager
What is it like to live with out money?
The tents right down by the river
His life flies by and he lives it funny
He’ll Ski at whistler with his K2 quiver
Only the locals get in those doors
Lock and key
But the ski bum lives more
Charlie Ager he might be a bum
But he has a life passion and has his fun
More genuine then you and I
Because the chances he takes we don’t want to try
And if he fails is he looked at less

He did it right and for him god bless
People can’t see why he wants this life
But why work 9-5 and live with strife
Work all summer and quite in fall
Does Charlie Ager have it all?
From Charlie Ager what can be learned?
A happy life isn’t luck its learned
