Mind blowing. Seriously mind blowing. I just had to shut up after I said damn after the first 10+ shots. Absolutely incredible segment with some of the biggest damn BC/Big Mountain stomps I've seen. He honestly lands switch in deep ass pow for about 75% of the shots. Can't wait to see this segment again!

Plus Dane and Durtschi's segs, this shit is crazy.
 
i thought the commentary on him from other riders was sick. about how he works real hard to make the money to ski

I haven't seen edias but is he a lumberjack? Pretty much a hero of manlines in skiing, i look up to charley in a different way to other pros.
 
WORD!!! it was dope he would do like this huge switch cork 5 im like dam that was big and then go throw switch 7 even bigger and just stomp in the powder like damb dude!! nuts
 
The like 40 ft, high speed, bonk double drop to 180...whatever you call that. Ya that was sick. And the closing bigggg switch cork 7 blunt to perfect stomp. the 180, then the 5 blunt same cliff, stomp.
Stoked to see what he does in 2010

 
i have watched teh movie two times through now, once at if3 and once in my dorm with dvd. but also i have watched his part probably 5 times...one of my favorites out of them all. i think best in the whole movie to be honest! I loved it!
 
I'm glad i could repay you a little for how many days of mine have been made by Journal.

I would give a finger to be able to stomp sw rightside 7 blunts like Ager. He's been killing it for a while now, but he's just starting to really blow up.
 
Uhhhhhh... Duncan did you see Journal last year??? If not, buy it on Theory-3.com right now. Actually, not just you. Everyone reading this. Just do it. Jeffy is selling off his stock for super cheap: 5 movies, $33. It's easily worth that JUST to get Journal. For me Charlie was skier of the year last year, hands down.

This year's segment basically didn't see him ski forward until like 7 shots into it. Unbelievable.
 
True freeskier, doesn't give a shit about the fame, sponsors, contracts. He just skis, and absolutely kills it. Hes the type of guy that you know has done even crazier shit when the cameras arent rolling, and just never tells anyone about it.
 
i've no doubt charlie's seggy is as dope as it sounds, kid absolutely slays. hands down the most technical switch landings in pow belong to him.

on a side note, how was andreas' seggy? no mention of it as yet...
 
He does have style - it's just not the super tight, smooth style that everybody else has. He just hucks it and lets his tricks flow. I really like watching his tricks.

Once again, if you haven't seen him in Journal last year, go buy it. It's cheap, and his part was just as ridiculous. Skier of the year 2008.
 
yeah ive seen it and thats why im sayin, he got very little style. flailing all over the place. one of the craziest dudes out there though

Journal was the best movie out last year. If you haven't bought it, go buy it, Jeff is selling them for cheap.

After you buy journal, go buy Refresh.

Spending money on ski movies is better than spending money on whatever else you kids think you need to spend money on.

 
ah you guys tease me. i'm desperately waiting for my copy of Journal to arrive. Ordered it together with PNW. Hopefully it arrives sometime soon here in Germany

 
yeaa! i'm stoked everyone is stoked on charley, his seg was sooo sick! at times he seems a little out of control, but i think it's just cuz he skis so damn fast. He definitely STOMPS switch for about 10 shots in a row in that seg... so ridiculous
 
What? His style is sick! He's showing that the shit he's doing is not just like a video game, it's actually super difficult! Charley rocks!

but god damn he sends it and stomps like none other.
 
The man is a machine. His segment really showed how much drive he had. Tomahawking all the way down a landing then getting back up and stomping the shit out of it. Definitely an admirable quality and it really got me stoked for the season.
Keep killing it!
 
Charley Ager is a beast.. no other word for it really.. I though his section in Journal was by far the best of last year.. Won't be suprised if this years is the best section of anyone this year.. Stoked to see it.. Most underated skier out there IMHO..
 
my love for his segment calls for another post. it just blows my mind how sick it was. i cant even explain
