Changing my winter jacket color?

alright at the beginning of the season I bought a yellow and green orage jacket and the 10 times I was able to go skiing this year I saw someone with the jacket every time. Also it’s a little too bright to wear as a winter jacket when I’m not skiing. So I was wondering if there was any way I could change the colors, even if it’s just the yellow to black or the whole thing black. The only two idea I had were dying it, which I’m not sure how. Or spray paint which would be sketchy. Any help at would be great thanks.

I am not very well versed in the dying department, but I can tell def do not spray paint it will look horid and ruin it. As far as dying I would think with the type of fabric and water proofing it might not turn out so hot but again never really got into the dying scene. Wait for someone else to give more info.

That would absolutely ruin the waterproofing. If you don't like it you should buy a coat on sale. Tons of things are discounted right now

honestly dont do this unless you are 100% sure you want to do it and also know what you're doing. If you want a new jacket, just buy a neutral color jacket for skiing+everything else eg: white, black or gray. Painting it/dying it might also hurt your chances if you every want to sell it.

well i got this jacket in a pre-season sale and im not about to go buy another jacket cause i dont want to wear it when im not skiing. but thanks for the adivce on not dying or spray painting it.
