Changing binding position?? Is it possible?

I got a new pair of PE 05/06.

The shop mounted them at 0, but i would like them mounted at 3-5 cm forward.

Do you know if it's possible to drill them again??

Do ypou think it makes sense or it doesn't affect the ride?

Thanks

It is definately possible. Ride them first and seee how you like that spot then remount them if you dont like it.

I tried them yesterday in Hintertux.

First ride with them, i liked but i was wondering if changing the position would be more stable for park riding.

Generally the toe piece will not move unless you have demo binders.

If you ride more park, I'd suggest going a bit more forward.

I had a pair of 05/06 PE's mounted at +5 and they were great in the park, but still skied great all mtn and even had decent float in pow.

I dont think you will feel enough difference to justify remounting and compromising the strength of the ski!!

I would ski them where they are at!!

Skiing isn't a matter of life and death. It's much more important than that!'

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just gonna ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later"

Remounting from 0 to +5 will make a huge difference! Also, mounting a second time will not harm the ski at all.

two times wont harm the ski, but decide where you want it cause 3 is gettin risky

did you ask the shop to mount them at +3-5 because if you did you should be pretty pissed that they mounted them there and get a new pair of skis for free. it weakens the ski to get them remounted more than twice so it wont hurt for the first time you remount them but after that they get pretty weak
