Obama hopes to raise the national debt ceiling (the amount of money the federal government can borrow) by 1.8 trillion dollars. This means our federal government would be borrowing AT LEAST 50 cents for every dollar spent this upcoming year. Now, that's change we can believe in.

Politicians should make whatever the median income of the population as a whole is, but these crooks and hacks make buttloads of money and get fat ass pensions while the rest of us scrounge for extra dough to support families and pay for school. something isn't right.
