anybody go there???? i just got in, ive been in community school here in philly for 2 years. whats it like there??? lots of skiing close by? lots of parties? lots of newschoolers???

i think mad river is near by, because i saw lake champlain from the top. and sugarbush is by mad river. and you can see stowe from there too. mad river is the ill shit.

stowe is close by. champlain is a huge party school, its all the kids that didnt get into st mikes or uvm and just party all the time. pretty good time, i know a few kids that go there

hahaha, wow, the rep that we built for that place has made it to the internet huh? shit

i went there, graduated. party school sure, but they are in the process of making the degree programs more tough, its not to bad though. you figure out how to balance drugs and alcohol with school, presentations and skiing. oh yea, burlington is the shit for sliding rails and cops being understanding enough to let things slide.

dont go to stowe, they suck, mad river doesnt have a park, jay is an hour and half away, but kicks ass, smuggs is kinda beat, and sugarbush willbe stepping things up with the help of Line skis and Siver Cartel for the 04 / 05 season. details as they erupt, check their sites for info when the season gets closer.

if your getting an apartment, get it on or near beull street if you want to party, everywhere else has neighbors that will bust you for house parties if cops can hear noise from the side walk, its super gay and it gets expensive, but my roomies and i got away with murder on beull, kegs three times a week, skiing down stairs and shit you wont even understand untill you live there yourself (homeless people will do anything for vodka)

i hope you;re refering to the actual skiing aspect of the hill, cause aside from the mountain itself, lift lines blow, the people are rude and obnoxious, they put all of their efforts into the race program, you have to hike up a damn hill from the lodge, the park is dangerously bad (short landings, tiny rails set up on flat ground and a steep narrow trail) and there are a million people there whenever its nice out, so you cant rip.

stowe definetly sucks

 
im at UVM next year, i think the 2 schools are right next to each other

i live 10 mins away from champlain, ive taken some great classes there...burlington is a chill city and skiing isnt that far away (30 mins to an hour away) and there is a free smuggs bus that leaves early morning and comes back around 6...i take it a lot because im poor and have no gas to drive

UVM is bigger but im pretty sure that its easier than st mikes, and usually bigger schools r easier to get into then smaller private ones

im at st mikes right now...

it's hard to get in, but pretty easy to get good grades...

i've heard uvm's the opposite...but then again, it's only hearsay...

i have some buddy's at champlain...they call it 'camp champ' cause it's a wicked fun school...enjoy

ive gotten into both uvm and st.mikes. if you want to get into the nitty gritty, uvm SAT scores are on average higher than st.mikes SAT scores. but they are both great schools, and it just depends on what environment you are looking for.

i toured champlain about a month ago...... i absolutely love their campus. i'm a pretty rural kid, and even so, the really dense city is still a little bit off from campus, which is nice. the dorms rock, old victorian houses..... when i start applying to schools, champlain is def. on top of my list.

i stayed just outside of burlington, toured the college friday, skiied jay peak on closing saturday, and skiied stowe on their closing sunday. jay is a bit of a hike, but it's worth it..... stowe's not too bad, and other mtns are about the same distace as stowe from burlington.

take a tour if you can, it's a nice place.

uvm is ill and so is burlington ive been there for 3 winters now. 1 at stowe and 2 at jay. a smart thing to do would be get a jay pass for the weekends at 199 and a pass to bolton valley for nights, only 20 mins away and 99$. while a stowe pass is 360 with huge lines and huge dicks all around

 
champlainge looks sick because it's not the biggest school, but you have UVM (which is huge, it has more students then people in my town) right next door so it's sweet. burlington is prime too...it's beautiful and the lake is right there and stowe is super close. plus, it's VT and how can you not like VT? ya

yea, sometimes after the winter the chicks in B town can kinda get that doughnut ring that flops out over the pants. thats gross. but since it had been 20 below zero for 5 months, they all strip down in like march when its 60. so you get to see boobs a lot sooner.. which is rad

hell yea loaf rider, all of champlain's shit is ill from a technology stand point they have some of the most advanced shit, my dad can back that up cause he is in charge of a major university's computing and media services
