Who goes there or plans on applying there? I'm real interested in going there next year, but i was just wondering. Do freshmen get to drive there or no?

idk...good question young grommit...are you asain by any chance? if so then the answers to all your questions are yes..good luck edward

Champlain is a shit load of fun. Right in downtown Burlington which is one of the best places not only for college but skiers alike. UVM is a much better school however so if you have the grades you should look at going to Vermont rather than Champ

It's ina a solid location. I'm a senior there now and i enjoy it. I can't speak of on campus living though cuz ive never lived on campus. i did live in spinner place freshman year though and it sucked. i didnt really do much. so on campus is best unless u like taking a bus everywhere in btown since its a town away. you get 30 dollar sugarbush pass which is like 45 min away. theres night riding at bolton, theres stowe which many kids go to. its legit

and i believe they do allow driving for anyone as long as they have a parking permit for one of the lots or watever

i would only go to champlain if i already had at least three bad STD's.... and if not my only suggestion is bring lots of rubbers and dont get too drunk... girls are fucking sloppy and notorious for spreading the herpes.... go to uvm or st mikes... fuck champlain right in the ass, literally, i heard thats safer when dealing with skanky bitches

i got kicked out of there my freshmen year... it was a lot of fun burlington is a sick place to go to school. girls are mad chill, tons of bud and mad cheap passes to the mtns near by. parties aren't too bad either but you'll deff know everyone in your class by the end of the year. I didn't bring a car up you need a special reason for it like a job. I would recommend if you live on campus make friends off campus cuz campus security is crazy and will try to get you in trouble.

i go to uvm, and have lived in vt for a solid 10 years. Btown is legit if you're looking for chill kids and keggers. The police are easy to escape from as well. Just jump a fence and go to the next street, or throw some elbows when you're leaving a basement or jumping a deck, because chances are one party you're at is going to be busted at some point.

another good trick is putting your wallet in your shoe and telling them your name is bob saget

im a sophmore there right now and yes you can have a car any year you want to, including freshman year all you need to do is buy a parking permit. i do not know why rainbowstylin said that you will contract STDs, cause you probably wont unless you are a dumbass. buds good, parties are good, security sucks

I heard a rumor that Champlain is now more expensive then UVM for out of state students. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

yeas i think its pretty pricey. but out of state to uvm is redic like 50 g with a dorm. i bet its upwords of 40 g's maybe more.

Champlain is full of e gamers. and guitar hero players. oo i hate them.

A good percentage of Champlain professors teach at CCV (the community college) so I'd just go there and save a few bucks, then transfer to UVM when you get into more major specific classes later in your educational journey.

Thanks, i meant out of state at UVM. Here is what i found

UVM in state - 22,550

Champlain - 36,465

UVM out of state - 40,406

yeah you can drive, i asked an administrator and they said there was a lot to park in. i might be bringing my car to go skiing with. and yeah it's expensive unfortunately but everyone says it's worth it
