I know a decent amount of people on here go there and I wanna know more about it so I figure what better then to ask people who go there, so yeah, a couple of things

Whats it like in general

what are we looking at to have to get in

I wanna go into digital media and I hear its good there but how good

any other help would be good to, thanks

oh and yeah, i searchbar'd before i did this

because their not going to give me the same answers as someone who is actually paying to go there

thank you for contributing to my thread

I looked at Champlain for Graphic Design when I was school-shopping. Sweet looking college, the housing options looked amazing, it's in Burlington..... yes.

However, the art/design type programs, in hindsight, looked to be mediocre at best...... Now I could be wrong, but you might want to see how well ranked those programs are..... in comparison to some VERY good programs I've seen, they didn't look that great......

Take that with a grain of salt, and I hope you find somebody who's actually IN the program. Maybe post something on the Burlington craigslist, see if somebody's willing to chat with you about it.

I ended up not going into graphic design, but Photography instead, at Rochester Institute of Technology. We've got a pretty good design program here too, it's in the top 50 in the country.

Skiing kinda bites though.

I visited it a month ago and it looked pretty sick. Its got some great stuff, like an on campus rail jam during the winter. I think they get a free ski pass to part of Bromely and then they also get like a 3 mountain pass for like...I want to say $290. And yeah the fact that its in Burlington is AWESOME! Right now its like my #3 favorite school that I'm applying to. The only dick thing about their admissions is that they have 2 Early Decision periods and one Regular Decision. So now I have to wait until March to find out if I get accepted or not. Oh and VERY IMPORTANT it sadly had the least number of

'hot bids' that I saw on campus out of all the schools I looked at, so kinda a (-). Hopes this helps!

i go there now but am majoring in business so im not sure how the artistic part of things are there. and the housing is pretty sweet. my dorm is a 1 minute walk to the main part of campus (dining hall area). and 4 minute walk to each of my classes and real close to the downtown part. so far I'm liking the school.
