Anyone here watch soccer at all? The Champions league is underway and world qualifiers are also going too, some real quality soccer being played. As for the Champions leauge, who do you guys got winning? I am hoping Real Madrid or Liverpool takes the dub, but we will see. Who you guys got?
 
Played soccer for my whole life until last year. Hardest team sport I’ve ever played. Been a Man City fan because my cousins are from manchester and support them so my dad got me into them. I really hope they can finally win and wish my dad could of saw them win too:(
 
When I was 14 I played against man city’s academy and had to play against charlie mcneil, now on Man United, and luke mbete, now a backup for man city. I got destroyed
 
My fam are diehard Liverpool fans and it’s so satisfying to watch them play well after like 15 years of coming up short. Real Madrid looks really solid and I doubt Bayern could win against Madrid or Liverpool..

no hate to the previous guy but city is awful. They do have a very solid team but if you follow soccer closely then you know that they are beginning to become a cancer. Oil money has turned their club into a superstar money making club. Haaland will prolly end up there and more stars will follow. But you gotta respect pep and his coaching style

Man City has good players but they blow, I'm stoked to see Liverpool on top their team is so good rn. I am just waiting for Man U to get their chance to take the dub.

100% it was hilarious to see all the atleti players throwing tantrums for the shit they pretty much invented. Its a staple of simeone teams to play super defensive then waste time once they get their counter attacking goal.

fuck city tho thats a sportswashing project and they wouldnt be shit without all the oil money

What position did you play?
 
Watched Athletico and City in my English class and was on my toes the entire game. Very excited for how this year is gunna turn out. (Hopefully with Klopp ending Pep's season)
 
Real Madrid looking so dangerous though. Vini and Benzema together might be the best duo in the world at the moment. I absolutely hate Casemiro with a passion but it will be interesting to see Pep go up against madrid again.
