Chamonix in April - Need Help

Was thinking of going in early April (I cant go earlier this year)...want to do mostly touring and skiing steeps. Is there any risk there will be no snow and the trip be a dud?

Last year the season ended in June.. Its a strange winter here in the Alps this year, but I think you will have no problem having fun in Cham in April..
