CF Card reader troubles. +K!

So i just got a CF Card Reader. Its a Transcend TS-RDP8K. I am running a 16 GB SanDisk 60mb/s CF Card inside of it. When ever i open it to take stuff (video) off of the card it just auto ejects it and says that i didnt safely remove it. Any idea why this would be happening?! Its so frustrating because it happens every time and its Brand new...Thanks and +K for help / replies!
 
have you tried a different USB port? One of the ports on my Macbook is fucked and does the EXACT same thing. It's real annoying.
