Center vs. True center

Searchbared but couldn't find anything. Is there a difference between center mounting and true center mounting bindings? I always hear people use both terms so I'm just wondering.

True center refers to the center of the ski's sidecut I think

I believe not 100 on this but it is in the boot true center is the middle of the boot sole at the middle of the ski, traditional is the arrow in boots at the center of the ski.

See the arrow on my ft's its my the actual ft logo but that's true vs traditional

There are two ways to center a ski... I'm not sure which would be referred to as "true".

1: Measuring from tip to tail.

2: Measuring from effective edge

True center is the center if the ski, measure it then take the 1/2 way measure point and that's true center.

Center mount when talking about park mounting is the same.

Boot Center is different though. Typically it's on or two marks on the ski that you align the boot with.

I thought that was core center?
