center mounting

any ski can be center mounted, its just a matter of if u want it center mounted. but center mounting is the only way to go.

Skiing is never a sport, but a lifestyle.

Some people question 'why' and wonder 'how'. They just can't seem to grasp 'how' or 'why' we do what we do. Others don't understand, they just continue to wonder. The truth of the mater is that we can't explain it either. All we can say is 'snow so deep you sink up to your hips', 'hits so big you can't see the landing', 'rails with all kinds of bends and kinks', 'natural cliffs and tree runs that you can't explain with any other word than sick' and still they don't understand what we do. On a board or skiis, it is the same. A feeling of freedom and expression in a way so uncommon. But still, they don't understand....

line uses center mounted skis, so they suck really really bad. My mission is to burn all line skis in the pile of death

Just told the guy at the shop to centre mount my scratch BCs (yes Im bragging), hope they work out alright. They might not be actual centre, they are going on the forward mounting line.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.
 
I will probably end up using them 50% bc, 50% park. The advice I got from others with the skis was go forward. I went longer than normal (I normally ski ~175) to 182 so they would hold me up in the powder. There should be heaps of ski underneath me, so I should just have to change my style a bit in the fluffy stuff.

a center mounted ski is just as easy to ski as a back mounted ski.

yeha i used a forward mt 1260 then switch to a pub mounted at the suggested and i personally like the pe's mounting better. but the 1260 is better on rails

 
After i broke my bindings they had to center mount them, they where easyer to ride switch and like it more.

i centermounted my old teneighties this year, and they are kinda squirrely when you're skiing around the mountain, but i like them a lot better overall. it makes rails and jumping a lot easier, and you really can ski on them just fine. so uh... do it.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
my skis r forward mounted and i could still out ski u bitches all over the mt.

i love my pe's mounted there. its a good mix of all mountain and park. i also got the new titanium salomon bindings. just base how far you want them mouted on how much park you do.

MY PEs are mounted at +7 and that is the furthest you can mount them and i love them like that everywhere.On my old 1260s there was exactley 26 inces on eachside of the binding,completly centered.I ALSO THINK LINESUCKS IS A FAG AND SHOULD BE KICKED OFF THE SITE!

 
i think about how im going to mount my new msps a lot. im not really sure. i might go halfway between center and back, just because i cant make up my mind.

 
to everyone, go to your shop and tell them you want the same length of tail as you have nose. that way you get a true 'center' mount not just the center line

 
or you can take both skis, flip one upside down, mesure the distance between the two mounting lines, then divide it by two, you have your center
