Center Mounting

Hey newschoolers, just a quick question

i just bought the '09 salomon threats and marker 11 bindings. i know its not the greatest set up, but this will be my first year skiing park, and i wanted to buy a good entry level park ski. the threats are 171 and i am about 5foot8.

My question is basically whether to get them center mounted or not. This year i really want to work on carving switch and flat out balance on rails. However, some of my friends that i ski with dont ski park. I live in colorado, so it's a lot of the back bowls in vail and that kinda stuff.

Can i still carve with a center mounted ski?

Will center mounting hold me back for all mountain skiing?

If center mounting is a bad idea, how far back should i get them mounted?

Thanks ns, i really appreciate it.

and for those of you who are annoyed with my noob question,

please enjoy this nerd:

mount them 2 back that should be good for 90% park 10% all mtn. it does affect the forward carving but not too much.
