i have a pair of the rossignol sas s1 the mens ski not junior with rossi sas2 100 bindings, right now these skis are mounted 4-5cm. back from true center and im not enjoying them.Do you think true center mounting them is the way to go?or no because they are not park specific

please comment if you have any suggestions or experience with the rossignol sas s1

thanks

Well if you are talking about the 168 S1(which is the same as 168 Blast in 08) then the most forward labeled mounting point of the three is still a few back from center. I doubt that they would work well center, or anywhere though. They just don't feel right for some reason. If I don't find another better rock ski, I will make the pair of 168 blasts my rock ski mounted between the most forward mark and center.

they are the 158 s1's so idk if they are the same as the blasts because the mount now semms to be holding me back and they are super light and sort of flexy so they may be descent in the park

the shop screwed you brent, if you asked for center. but i'd say just a little back is good because its not 100% park.

yep, they owe you a refund and a new mount if they screwed up.

and it is the exact same as the blasts, the whol S series is a repeat ski except the s7 and the s6 may have had a change to it.

I almost got that blast last summer but i read reveiws saying it had poor grip. Im way to tall for it now anyways.

Well if he already owns the S1 it is the 09 version, so I was talking about the 09 S series. Isn't the rockered S3 new for 2010?

Oh sorry I misunderstood you. I thought you meant that the skis in the S series were repeats from past rossi skis like the blast or whatever it's called

They are- S1=blast with different graphic. I think the only new ski in the 09 S series was the S7.

Nah, but there wasn't in the 09 S series(first year of S series). rockered S3 is new for 2010, and I was talking about how the S1-S6 of 09 are all just new graphics, not a new ski. The S4 is like 6 years old now or something haha. Do you know what rocker shape the S3 is going to have next year?

Your first mistake was getting the S1's.... last year i had a pair of Rossi Scratch Blasts and when the fuckin tip broke i sent in for warranty (actually drove two hours to warehouse and turned in there).. and low and behold (thanks a fuckin lot Rossignol) 4 weeks later my new skis came.. and out of the box came the S1's.. like, what the fuck? they said it was "close enough".. well fuck iit.. i got 5 weeks left of skiing, no need to get a new pair.

well those next 5 were hell.. skis are weak as shit, graphics are gay as shit, quality is overall fucked as shit.. point being

i'm sorry dude

Well that is an 08 ski so you are lucky to get a warranty, and they would not have 08 skis left, so they gave you the same ski with the 09 graphic. What I do not understand is why you even skied the new ones instead of selling them here, after skiing the blasts and realizing they suck.

he had 5 weeks left in the season, obviously if he sold them on here, it would take a while for them to ship out and him to get the money... then he would have to go to a shop, get new ones mounted... hed have about 2 weeks left if he did that.

if you mount above modern it cancels your warranty anyways which really sucks so im going to have to mount at modern so i can always get a new pair if they brake mid season
