Ok, well i have just switched to skiing from snowbaording, i skiied when i was younf, but have been snowboarding for 6 years and i just got ski stuff and i was wondering if i should center mount my skis, i can ski fine, and hope to ride some park and also big mount tain what would you guys suggest id do? My skis are dynastar nothing but terouble with look px12 jibs and salomon foil boots

good ski to get into twin tip skiing for sure. almost identical to the trouble maker except for the re-enforced edges under foot but i digress...

ANYWAYS.

i wouldnt true center them if i were you. go recommended. it sounds like you are going to be doing a bit of everything. so do not go center. for you i wouldnt go any farther forward than -2.5 from true center.

center will take away your out of park skiing ability and wont make it as fun. kids over hyp true center because its what the pros do but for actual practicaility for yourself it makes zero sense.

go recommended.

ok, so 2.5 inches behind center would be good all around, good for park, pouder, groomers everything?

2.5 is MAX. honestly bro. go recommended. this is your first twin tip ski correct? get used to the feeling. then if u want to. get em re-mounted. not a big problem at ALL.

for powder...that ski isnt going to be great no matter where you mount it lol.

ok, so where in realation to center is -2.5, im new to this ski lingo...... and yes these are my first twin tips

ok go reccomended then. and -2.5 means 2.5 cm back from the center of the ski.

that ski wasnt made to be true centered anyways.

yes go with reccommended since ur new to skiing and skiing ur first pair of the side-cut will prob feel wack

go recomended
