Center Mount Ar6's?

Looking to center mount my ar6. It's not a full symmetrical ski, so is this a good idea or not?

Last year, I had a pair that I mounted at recommended position and didn't feel right.

Recommended at -2.5cm

Thoughts? Thanks!

i would say -2 would be good, mine are 2 back now and i had another pair that were dead center and thease ride bettir ithink.

i skied mine center, but it was my park ski, couldnt vouch for the performance out of park... i think if your using them as an all-mountain ski as well (somewhat what they were designed for, yes?) then a -2.5 recommended mount makes more sense.

where are you going to ride it most? if it's basically a park ski but every now and then it'll be on groomers (so like 90% or more park) go with center...IT DOESN'T MESS UP THE SKI, I don't know why but people always seem to think that if you center mount an AR6 it will make the ski explode or something, I center mounted my 09's and they were dope in the park and pretty good out too. However if you plan on being out of the park (somewhere around 50%-50%) I'd recommend -1.5, from what I've heard, that's best. If it's basically a groomer ski that sometimes goes in the park, then go with -2.5 (but I'm guessing that's not the case cause you didn't like it there before).

I agree, I loved mine center mounted, but some people don't like center mounted skis out of the park. At first it took some get used to, but after a run or two I didn't notice a difference at all.

I had them mounted center for a few days. I ski instruct about 50% and in the park the other 50%. Moved them back to -2.5 and they were 10x better for all mountain and about the same for park.
