Alrighty, I don't know why people are getting so uptight about the moderation on NS. We moderate for our users, not our sponsors. There are a lot of people that get fed up with all the shit that gets posted and they leave, so we lose members and the quality of the community goes down. We moderate to keep the garbage that doesn't belong on a SKI site out and try to allow for some decent conversations.

I'd rather cater to the normal, non-shit-talking kids out there that just like to ski, rather than the people that come on here and do nothing but spread hate and limit the potential of the sport.

Bottom line, if you don't like it, LEAVE. If you want to talk shit head on over to the freeze forums and go wild, but don't waste everyone's time by causing shit on a FREE service that you don't even have to pay for.

Um, you talk about us conforming and doing as told because we learned to in school. Now... listen here. You are talking about many things at once. Just because 'the man' says something doesn't mean you have to automatically go against it. If 'the man' is right, then go with it. The thing I hate most in this world is principle (heavy heavy principal). FOr example, some people say they don't burn cds. I ask them why... they answer that it's illegal (im not going to get into the legal aspects, let's just say its illegal) Then I ask them why they care if its illegal. I would accept if their answer was 'because you can get in trouble' or something, but instead the answer tends to be 'If its illegal its wrong'. People shouldn't ever let other people or principals they have cloud their judgement. Be smart enough to make your own decisions. That's why I'm saying I'm not a conformist just because I aggree with it, I simple have the same view point. You are clouded by your will to be against 'the man'. Think man, think.
