Well, I'm a lifeguard at a local amusement park. I was working yesterday and i was in a huge rush to get to work on time so i accidently forgot to take out my cell phone out of my pocket. So, i was going along and scanning my water and i had to jump in and save some kid. But, i my cell phone was still in my pocket and got completely soaked. So now my cell phone doesnt work. Whenever i put the battery in the phone, the phone starts vibrating and doesn't stop. Does anybody have a clue whether i just have to buy a new battery or if i have to go out and get a new phone?

if your floating down a fiver in a cement canoe, and the wheels fall off, how many pancakes does it take to shingle a dog house?

NONE! ice cream doesnt have bones.....

take it completly apart, let it dry for a few days, then if its rusty, spray a lil wd-40 on it. same thing happened to me, only i dropped mine in a toilet when i was drunk.

by the way, after you let it dry for a day or 2, it should work.

most company's wont take it on warranty cause its own your stupidity so you might get charged big time if you want a new phone...

my friend dropped hers in a pitcher of beer once and let it dry for a couple of days adn the only thing that happened was the screen was always a lil different after that...

Couple good friends, couple cold beers, couple HUGE puddles all equal a wicked night on the farm...

Thank god for the country

i would say new phone, my friend jumpd in a pool with his the other day, n the verizon guy said that a new battery will most likely not work, n wen we tried it, it didnt.. i garuntee the person u saved is willing to pay for it

haha my friend has the exact same problem, i think she jsut let it dry all the way out, and eventually it worked again

it really depends. all cell phones have at least two moisture indicators that show whether or not its been soaked, so warranty is out of the question.

If it ever turns on again depends on a few things. Did u try to turn it on after you got it wet? Pretty much u just have to let it dry for a couple days then wish for the best.

it wont fuck the battery, the phone itself is what will be fucked.
