Cell Phone Help

So this might be a long shot...... but I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet yesterday (pre-pee), fished it out and did the whole rice overnight thing. It doesn't really work anymore. It was a samsung slide-y phone. So, my question is, would anybody happen to have an old non-smart (Verizon) phone just laying around that they would donate to me?

Or I can bake some cookies or something to send in return. But yeah I know I said it's a long shot, but you would be super helpful, please and thanks.

And yes, I've already checked craigslist, apparently people around here only sell smart phones...

Just go on ebay and get one from one of those restoration companies.....got a basically brand new Verizon LG envy 3 touch for $15.

you'll find someone on here that will send you an old verizon phone for cookies. heck if i was a verizon person i'd send you one for cookies haha

I know this is after the fact...but

I left my iPhone in my swimsuit pocket while I got in and sat in a hot tub for about a minute or two, realized it was there, took it out and put it in a towel. I continued my tub session, but afterwards I put my phone in rice for a full 48 hours and lo and behold, my phone is completely fine.

Just an fyi, sometimes the phone needs more than a night.

If she tried to turn it on....it probably is fried. Always leave it in the rice for at least 3 days to be safe.....that's what my Verizon store told me anyways.

yeah definitely should have left it in for longer, but oh well

shouldn't be too hard to find an old flip phone somewhere

To the cookies have any effects to them? Haha But seriously, I could hook you up for some cookies. PM me.

I mean it turns on, and people can hear me and I can text, but only for a few minutes and then it freezes, so I have to take the battery out and start the whole process over, and the up and down buttons dont work, and it keeps pressing numbers on its own, idk ghost phone
