I have really bad feet, and was told by a physical therapist I need to stop wearing vans and find something with more support. Vans were the were the only style shoe I really cared for, but I remember seeing a couple shoes a while ago that were like a cross between a hiking shoe and a skate shoe. With doing a little looking around, I found these, but there all sold out

Spark Notes: Help me find shoes like the ones above, sort of a cross between a Hiking and skate shoe

fail on pics, but check their site, the company was founded by skiers and their high quality shoes

Why not just get some more supportive insoles? This way you can wear pretty much any shoe and have about 1000x more support than the stock insole. You could go the all custom orthotic route but if you're pretty active those insoles won't be the best. I have a pair of Footprint insoles and they're pretty rad. Water injectable insole for custom arch support and it actually works and they're only like $30. I have the first model and the foam has compressed in the forefoot area but I've heard the newer models are fixing this. They give me support and I can slip them into any shoe with a removable insole. I'd highly recommend checking them out and see if they'll work for you.

Ive got custom made orthotics now, but for them to really work (Ive also got a fucked up gait, my right leg tweaks out to the side) I need a solid pair of shoes and not the loose vans that don't have any structure to them

so if you know a good looking technical sort of shoe that would work for daily wear tell me

I have these, i only used them once on a hike, and they have an incredible amount of support. Sadly i ordered a size too small. PM if you wanna buy a size 10
