Cat trend?

so i have noticed with a lot of my guy friends (not gay) are buying or adopting kittens. I think its becoming the new trend...I find it so funny. Any of you guys get a kitten recently?
 
yes i agree that dogs are better but my landlord says no dogs so this is my kitten....pretty damn cool for a cat.571095.jpeg

 
cats are better. my cat curls up by my ass every night and i rip big farts right on her face and she loves it

i dont like cats. i have a little cat with one eye that i almost hit with my truck, now he/she/it/whatever lives in my house. mostly i look it in its eye and tell it i hate it alot. then it rubs against my legs.

my cat has one blue eye and one green eye. he also has his own pet cat.

and my cat has full conversations with me, im not even kidding. in cat speak of course. he's pretty cool.
 
I used to have a kitten that we caught wild in our neighborhood, he was part siamese so he looked sick and he was playful and stuff, but he kept getting into our food and gave my mom really bad allergies so we gave him to our friends that own a farm that needed a cat for mice, and he's livin the absolute best life ever there now. I do have a dog though, beagle/cockerspaniel mix and I have to say that I like her better than the cat

 
its probably because youre now at the age when people are settled enough to own a pet, but for financial or life style reasons they cannot own a dog, so they settle for cats instead.
 
both cats and dogs are great. but i like mah kitties!! cats dont smell terrible, dont shit in the yaard, and wont eat everything that isnt tied down if you leave them home alone. plus most love sitting on your lap and being cuddly.
 
Then you clearly either owned a shitty cat or didn't own one at all. Cats are the tits. I've owned 3. And a dog. And I liked that cats better. Dogs are annoying and smell.
 
ummm. I'm pretty sure cats shit and piss everywhere, and at the very best, they shit in a box of litter (that smells like shit) in your house.

my dog barks when people come over which can be annoying sometimes, but I like it better than continually hearing cats scream and fight outside in the middle of the night.
 
well dogs usually smell like shit. And occasionally drool.And if you train a cat right it will shit and piss only in that box. Can you leave your dog home alone when leaving on a vacation? Didn't think so.
 
let me get this straight... you think reddit.com is the reason why cats are popular on a large scale? reddit's like 8 years old or whatever, people have owned cats for thousands of years... youre fucking high
 
absolutely. because I will have someone come over and play with him and feed him. if he doesn't come with, that is.

you should do the same for the animal you love
 
We got a new siamese/ragdoll/persian kitten. He's really friendly and playful, but loud as hell, and it's kind of weird when he tries to nurse on our male cat.
