Found this link on Reddit. I search barred the title, but I didn't look especially hard, so if it's a repost please excuse my waste of bandwidth.

It's a pretty long read and a TL;DR doesn't do it justice, it's worth the time. It's about the people who come to inform you when a loved one dies in the line of duty, this story specifically detailing one marine's experiences. Pretty thought evoking if you ask me.

Probably one of the best written, powerful, moving articles I have ever read. It hit home extremely hard. I was honestly crying my eyes out almost the entire article.

I hope for a little while, people on this website be mature, and read this article.
