Castle vs Fernie

Hey guys, I'm moving down to Crowsnest Pass this summer for a year and need to decide pretty quickly if I wanna get a pass for Castle or Fernie. Never been to Castle, but I've heard really good things, plus its a bit closer and cheaper.

Who's season is longer, who gets better snow, and who has the best terrain? Obviously Fernie is quite a bit bigger, but I'm cool with a smaller mountain if its got good terrain.

I havent been to either but from what Ive heard, Fernie gets more snow in general, but is owned by RCR, so no jumps.

Castle is very uncrowded so you can ski freshies all day.

One of my mates is going to Castle to work the season so I hope to hit it up too at some stage

Castle will get boring, but in Fernie there is soo much terrain. The only problem is that the roads close from here to the pass seemigly every heavy snowfall. So you might end up missing out on the deeps for that reason.
