So I've never been to one before, what are they like? Whats some fun shit to do and what games are the best? Any good stories?

Yeah, pretty much just stay away. Or only bring a pre determined amount of money and NO credit cards/debit cards. CASH ONLY. Also, have a friend there with you so if you are up a large amount of money he can pull you away and get the hell out of there while you still have a profit because remember, the house always wins.
On a positive note, blackjack and poker are fun. Just play around on the slots and any card game, its pretty easy to pick up.

I just went to one yesterday. I won 6 bucks!
The casino I go to has blackjack, slots, and limit poker. Don't play slots, most of the time they take your money.
Poker is fun if its no limit but I hate limit so I never play.
Stick to blackjack. I like playing the 3 dollar minimum table, you can play for while there for just 30 bucks. If youre willing to lose money you could play the 5 or 10 dollar tables. If youre a high roller play the 25 4 deck shoe.
Don't get addicted bring a set amount of cash and DONT bring a credit/debit card. Im down 130 cause of that shit.

And don't forget table edict. Only jump into the table when the dealer is shuffling or when someone backs out(you take their spot).If you jump in you make people mad and it's really rude, it will mess up the flow. Also if you have a 12 and up don't be a fucking idiot and hit when the dealer has a 6. 2-6 are bust cards. (highest chance of the dealer going over 21). And dont be afraid to ask the dealer for help. Never touch the cards. Don't hand the dealer your buy in money, set it in front of them. To hit, tap the table. To stay,do a flat wave. They won't accept verbal moves. Always double down on 11. Set the double amount of chips directly to the left of the ones already on the table. Always split Aces,put chips to the left again. I hope this helps. Have fun.

The ones around here - the non-Indian, non-Nevada type, are dark, but clean. The brightest thing in the room is the beacon of the ATM beckoning you to redeem yourself and win money. As already mentioned, bring your cash that you're willing to lose, and DO NOT use the ATM.
Drinks can sometimes be suuuuupper cheap. So if you're lookin to drink a bit and play with money, it can be fun.

I remember my first time at a casino with a few friends, my one friend and i sat in the keno lounge betting one dollar each time while my other friend lost 200 at blackjack. I wound up losing like 20 at keno, then threw down 10 on roulette real quick on the way out and won like 80. Good time, just bet safe. And no, you can't make money. You might one day. But not everyday. Basically don't get addicted, and only play slots if you have free play.

went there for a night after I turned 21. got a shitload of free booze and just walked around looking at shit. tossed some money into the slot machine while waiting for the drink girls to come by (every 30 max they told me haha). then threw a few bucks on roulette and made all my money back. by 7am I was well intoxicated and up $40 some how. great time

I try not to go too often so I don't wind up getting addicted or some shit. What i do is buy the minimum amount of chips I am willing to lose, so say £20 worth. Then play black jack with those chips, As soon as I amount another £10 then I put the orignal 20 aside and don't play those anymore that night; no matter what happens. that way I won't lose anything! It's a risk at the beginning but it's the thrill of the risk you know?
